TICONDEROGA — The Cultural Arts Initiative (CAI) has acquired resources from the Town of Ticonderoga to support the arts.
Designed quite a few yrs ago to market the appreciation of the visual, literary, and accomplishing arts in the region, CAI administers these money by a grants system.
Any arts group, historic society, preservation company, library, museum, or business providing general public cultural enrichment plans for Ticonderoga citizens is qualified for funding.
As an illustration, the money can be utilized as seed revenue for a new initiative or essential cash to finish an on-heading challenge or celebration.
“Every corporation for the most section that applies for this revenue is performing just that,” June Curtis, a CAI committee member, stated.

Apps for funding (up to $400) are now obtainable. The deadline for apps is April 15.

Grants will assistance but are not limited to programming expenditures, artist fees, just one-time use components for packages, partial costs for administration, advertising, rental of house, rental of products, lights & seem, costumes and qualified costs and providers.
The grants will not assist capital or actual physical enhancements, creating repairs, fundraising charges, receptions, refreshments and applications not open to the community.
